Elizabeth Gill

It is always a great delight for a British mystery enthusiast like myself to discover new and obscure writers from the Golden Age of crime mystery. The more obscure the better ! Now Elizabeth Gill has been reprinted, a British autor who only lived for 32 years. ( 1902-1934 ) Hence her output is small: just 3 books, introduced here at the “Passing Tramp”  blog, one of the Internet’s most valubale assets regarding mystery fiction, which is run by Curt Evans ( Author of  important books on GA fiction such as :  “Masters of the ‘Humdrum’ Mystery: Cecil John Charles Street, Freeman Wills Crofts, Alfred Walter Stewart and the British Detective Novel, 1920-1961”  and  “The Spectrum of English Murder: The Detective Fiction of Lancelot Aubrey-Fletcher and GDH and Margaret Cole” )
