Human Remains

A dark British comedy from 2000 that slipped through my net, I just discovered it now!! Refreshingly sinister and of course non PC (in 2000 one could still make a joke without being vetted by the thought-police) it was written by (and starring) Rob Brydon and Julia Davis and aired in 2000. Each episode, in the style of a fly on the wall documentary, documented the relationship of a different couple, all of whom were played by Brydon and Davis and were extremely unhappy. The show’s humour derives from such bleak topics as domestic violence, chronic depression and death. A true delight for Britcomedy fans! Here is a sample with some outtakes:
